Terms and Conditions

ACCOMMODATION

First class accommodations are assured where available and are based on twin occupancy to a room with private facilities.  Land Only and single supplement pricing available upon request.

AIR TRANSPORTATION

Air transportation is based on round-trip economy excursion fares a published by the airline whichever is applicable to the tour program.  All fares quoted are subject to change without notice by the airline.

BAGGAGE

World Travel Management Inc assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage.  Baggage allowance currently in effect on trans-Pacific flights is not more than two (2) pieces of checked baggage with combined total dimensions not exceeding 107 inches (272cm.) and no single piece exceeding 62 inches (157cm.)  Excess baggage charges are the responsibility of the tour participant.  For domestic flight in China, India, Vietnam and Cambodia, only one piece of check-in baggage and limited to 20 kilos.   

BOOKING

All booking and communication prior to your departure, including payment and refund transactions must be made through your travel agents.  At time of booking, please send us a scanned copy of your valid passport.

DEPOSIT

A Non-Refundable deposit of CA$500 per person is required 14 days upon confirmation of reservations unless otherwise stated. Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended.

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure.  All reservation made within 75 days of travel must be paid in full at time of booking.  Non-payment upon due date will result in automatic cancellation and will be subject to applicable charges.  Payment must be made by check payable to Marlin Travel or World Travel Management Inc.   

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be made in writing to World Travel Management Inc.  The date of receipt of cancellation notice will determine applicable penalties if any, will be assessed, in accordance with the following schedule:

A Non-Refundable deposit of CA$500.00 upon confirmation of reservations, unless otherwise stated Full payment must be made 75 days prior to departure.

74-45 days prior to departure, 50% of total tour cost.

44-30 days prior to departure, 75% of tour cost.

Within 29 days prior to departure, 100% of total tour cost.

Airfare are subject to different policies from carrier of choice.  Some may be 100% non-refundable after tickets issued   

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Currently none of the areas included in this itinerary requires certificates of vaccination.  However this is subject to change at any time.

INSURANCE

World Travel Management Inc recommends that all participants purchase trip cancellation, hospital and medical, and baggage insurance to protect their travel plans. Contact your travel agent for more information.

PASSPORT AND VISA

Valid passport is required and it must be valid for at least six months after the scheduled return of the tour.  Nationals of other countries must check with the booking agent regarding visa requirements, World Travel Management Inc cannot accept responsibility for alternate or additional land or air arrangements incurred by tour participants with improper documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

World Travel Management Inc. acts only as agent and/or intermediary for the independent suppliers.  The suppliers who provide transportation, conveyance, or accommodations are independent contractors and are not agents nor employees of World Travel Management Inc.  World Travel management Inc. assumes no liability for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity.  World Travel Management Inc. further reserves the right to decline, accept or to retain any person as a member of any tour at any time.

All matters within international destinations are arranged by our appointed travel authority or delegated handling travel agency who themselves reserve the right to make alterations or adjustments to the overall arrangements within their own country.  World Travel Management Inc. is not responsible for any such alterations made by the local authority or its delegate.

TOUR ESCORTS

A local English speaking representative will be provided at each city to meet you upon arrival and accompany you until departure for the next day on the itinerary.  A tour director will accompany each escorted tour group consisting of 15 or more participants.

TOUR PRICES

Tour price includes air transportation and land arrangements as specified in the tour package. Tour price is quoted in Canadian Dollars based on tariffs and foreign currency exchange rates as stated.  In the case of subsequent currency fluctuations or other pricing factors behond our control, all prices are subject to adjusment without prior notice.

TOUR PRICE DO NOT INCLUDE

Meals not specified in the itinerary, gratuities to guides, escorts, drivers, ship and hotel staff etc., optional tours, any domestic and international airport taxes and fees, charges of passports, visas, laundry, liquor, excess baggage charges, usage of telephones, faxes and telexes, travel and baggage insurance, airport improvement fee, Canadian navigation Fee, Fuel surcharge, security surcharges, items of personal nature and items not specifically listed as included.  

TOUR SUITABILITY CONSIDERATIONS

No activities on any World Travel Management Inc tour are particularly rigorous.  However, to enjoy many of our sightseeing destinations you will need to be in good enough physical condition to walk for one or two hours at a time at a reasonably leisurely pace without assistance and without becoming exhausted.  Note too, that some venues may require ascending and descending of steps.  Our Tibet tour, in particular, could be difficult for people with respiratory or heart problems.  If you have personal mobility restrictions or other health issues that could put you at risk or that could cause you to not be able to keep up with your group, please consider other vacation venues that will be more comfortable for you.

At World Travel Management Inc we do our very best to select a variety of interesting and enjoyable food venues on all of our escorted tours.  However, we can have no control over the cooking methods and foodstuffs used.  That being the case, it is impossible for us to in any way guarantee that traces of food substances to which you may be allergic to will not be present in any of the foods served.

Some destination cities may have air pollution issues.  If you have respiratory allergies or other respiratory problems you will need to do your own due diligence to determine whether air quality issues in cities on your itinerary could prove problematic for you.

As much as World Travel Management Inc would appreciate your business, if participation in any of our tours could potentially aggravate existing physical or medical problems it is necessary that you obtain prior medical advice to determine whether or not it is appropriate for you to take part.  World Travel Management Inc cannot accept responsibility for any food or respiratory allergy issues incurred by tour participants.

If you have such concerns but choose nevertheless to join one of our tours, we will require you to sign a waiver form to confirm that you have read and understood the above.
